What i wanna learn more

I wanna learn techniques like commands. It is easy to write something or do something faster than using mouse. I learned many commands in this class, but I don’t remember most of them^^ sorry!!
And I also want to learn making Home Page coz I have home pages now, but I used site which helped me to make home page. I am not OTAKU! Don’t worry! But I want to make home page by my self. It is cool, isn’t it???
I think it is very valuable that I could learn computer, because all I have learned is very important for me, Windows, Power Point, Microsoft Word, HTML, and Hard Ware. Everything is important.

Viral Videoooooooo!

“Viral Video” is not computer virus. It is the video that company made for Commercial. Some videos are not accepted to be on the TV because they are sexual, dangerous, something like that. They are announced on internet, web site, so we can see them. Viral (Virus) means “being popular by word of mouth”, not real dangerous virus. Don’t worry. You can show these kinds of video on your blog to introduce.

Net Neutrality

Net Neutrality is an idea that there are some rights that the internet users can access every legal web site, they can use every legal application, and every legal device can connect internet. This idea has been existed for few years. Yahoo, Google, Microsoft and other company support these rights. However, in the near future, Providers become stronger. They have their own applications or contents; control those besides control internet users’ networks. It will be talked in American federal congress. I think it is very hard problem for users. Now i am sure that we can access all web pages we want, we can do everything we want with internet because of the system, right “Net Neutrality”, but the system against Net Neutrality criticizes it. I got this information from many sites, but all information was difficult to understand, so I think if this problem deals with us (users), we have to learn it more.

Recent computer News-Downloading VS CD-

My recent computer news is downloading from internet music store exceed buying CD in sale of singles. The sale of downloading music was 53400,000,000 yen, and the sale of buying CD was about 50400,000,000 yen. The article said it happened because downloading is easier, cheaper and more convenient than buying CD. I considered it. First, most people are using cell phone, so they tend to download songs (Short version) from sites. And also, when people listened to music, they use i pod, mp3 player, cell phone etc, so it is suit and easy to download music by using internet. Second, it costs about 1,000 yen at least to buy CDs. However, it costs only about 150 yen at least to download songs. See, downloading is cheaper. Finally, when we want to listen to songs we liked, we have to look for them at HMV, Tower Record…, and if they were sold out already, we have to wait or reserve them. It is troublesome, right? However, if we use internet to get songs, we can download anything, anytime. I think the sale of downloading songs will be increase more and more.

Three web sites i like!

My favorite web sites are “Kakaku.com”, “mixi”, and “You tube”. First, I will introduce “Kakaku.com”. This site shows prices of many items, and people can comment anything, for example, what they think of maker’s products, bad points of products, good points of products, introduction, questions to users, whether they recommend or not, and so on. We can compare things. This site helps me to buy especially expensive items like car, TV, DVD recorder, etc. Next site is “mixi”. It is one of social networking service sites. I am using this site, and I think it is fun because I can write diary, read friends’ diary, participate community of favorite things, etc. I was surprised to find old friends. Last site is “You tube”. I think most people have used it. It’s fun because I can watch many kinds of video like PV, old Commercial, video which people have showed. I check this site every day.

What is "Social Engineering"?

Social Engineering is to steel important information from other people (user, manager) by listening slyly, finding memo that is written password or something important, looking at computer silently, and smooth talking, and so on. Some hackers use telephone. They pretend to be users, call managers, and then ask to change password to new one, but hackers don’t seem suspicious, because they pretend to be friendly. They don’t do technical things like using computer virus, hacking, etc. It is called also Social Hacking and Social Cracking. It is because of incomplete identification. I did not know this word “Social Engineering”. I thought it was kind of works because Engineer sounds like worker about technology. When I was a junior high school student, a man called me and said “This call is about yahoo BB. Now you can try it free. I want you to proceed, so tell me your address, please.” I surely sent a mail to apply, but I felt distrust that he asked me my address on call. Was it hacking????

what i know about Mac

I think apple computer is nice for having fun, for example, editing movies and music, making album, so on. Mac computer looks cool because of beautiful white body, very simple screen, and cute apple. However, windows looks like a typical machine. I mean Windows is nice for business and Mac is nice for private things. I have used windows since I was a child, so the windows is “computer” that I imagine. When I touched Mac first time, I thought “it is little bit hard to use　it.” because screen was very simple, so I didn’t know where the applications were. However, i learned intelligence of Mac. For example, we could use Windows program with Mac computer. Now we know Mac is all-purpose. In fact, I can't use Mac.

I wanna learn....

What I want to learn is how to use computer conveniently and how to have a fun with computer. I am using computer about 3-5 hours every night now. I love talking with friends with Skype, writing Blog, researching what I’m interested, so on. Now, computer is necessary for school because I need computer to submit assignments, writing essays, researching something, and so on. I feel that I can’t live without it.
I could learn many things that I had not known only few days. When I use computer, I don’t mind if I find something difficult. I just read instruction book or ask someone. However, I thought it is important to know about computer well even inside of computer. I expect that Mr. Poza will make us professional through this class!
